This is the most cost effective finish where the aggregate block is simply split to expose the character of the natural aggregate.
Cottage
The split product is tumbled to round the edges of the stone making it appear more like traditional building stone when laid.
Pitched
The finish is more rugged and is typical of quarry dressed stone.
